3 Centres Merge Method

The Three Centers Merge Method is a standing practice in Zhineng Qigong that guides practitioners into a deeper state of internal awareness and unity.

Practitioners work with the connection between the crown of the head, the centers of the palms, and the centers of the soles of the feet, bringing awareness inward toward the lower dantian. Through stillness, posture, and focused consciousness, the practice helps unify body, mind, and Qi into a more centered and integrated state.

Wall Squats Method

Wall Squat Method is an important practice in Zhineng Qigong that focuses on relaxing, opening, and strengthening the lower back and spine. Although simple in appearance, this method requires deep awareness, alignment, and gradual development through consistent practice.

In Zhineng Qigong theory, the lower back is considered a vital area connected to the body’s foundational Qi and overall vitality. By gently opening this region through the Wall Squat Method, practitioners aim to improve the natural flow of Qi and blood throughout the body while releasing tension held in the spine, hips, and legs.

Chen Qi Method

The Chen Qi Method in Zhineng Qigong is a focused practice for strengthening and stabilising internal Qi. It involves using awareness to gently settle and condense Qi within the body, helping it become more refined, clear, and organised.

Through stillness and concentrated intention, practitioners learn to gather Qi and guide it to where it is needed most. This method supports deeper internal balance, improved stability, and a stronger connection between mind and body.

La Qi Method

The La Qi Method is a foundational practice in Zhineng Qigong used to consciously gather, expand, and exchange Qi with the surrounding environment. Through gentle hand movements and focused awareness, practitioners learn to sense and work with Qi directly, strengthening the connection between mind, body, and the universal Qi field.

By repeatedly opening and closing the hands with intention, practitioners cultivate greater awareness of internal energy and begin to experience the dynamic relationship between giving, receiving, and harmonizing Qi.

Body and Mind Method

Level Two works more deeply with the body’s internal Qi and consciousness. It is more physically demanding than Lift Qi Up Pour Qi Down, integrating body and mind while allowing Qi to reach deeper into muscles, tendons, and bones. It can be practiced by relative beginners and supports the ability to collect and direct Qi.

This stage introduces Internal Hunyuan, where the mind turns inward and merges with the Qi inside the body. While external Hunyuan connects with Qi from the environment, internal Hunyuan focuses on refining and guiding Qi within, helping unify it through all parts of the body for greater balance and harmony.
